The story
Bafana Bafana striker Percy Tau played 83 minutes in Qatar SC's 2-1 win over Al-Shamal at the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium on Thursday evening.
The 'Lion of Judah' earned a yellow card in the 34th minute as his team secured a crucial home victory, climbing to eighth place in the Qatar Stars League standings.
The 30-year-old forward joined Qatar SC earlier this month, making the switch from North Africa after a successful five-year spell with Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
After the full-time whistle was blown, Tau was seen approaching a group of excited fans to take a few selfies before his captain joined the action.
