The story
Shortly after adidas South Africa and Orlando Pirates officially launched the club's new 2025/26 season kits, making them available for purchase, three of the Buccaneers' ballers shared their verdict on the Home strip.
The Soweto giants presented their adidas 2025/26 Home and Away kits last Thursday, two gorgeous designs that blend tradition with innovation.
The Home jersey features the classic black base with white and red accents, symbolising the club's legacy and unity.
In the behind-the-scenes footage shared by the club of the players at the new kit photoshoot, Sipho Mbule, Yanela Mbuthuma and Patrick Maswanganyi were asked to share their thoughts on the look of the Home strip.
"The kit is good, I can't complain. It's fresh and nice," shared Tito in his brief feedback. Mbule, on the other hand, waxed lyrical about the quality of the jersey.
"It's very nice, it’s comfortable, hey. It's like I'm not wearing anything. It's nice and soft, mate, can you feel the texture? It’s proper stuff. Everything feels nice, even the socks; it's all appropriate. It's like I'm going on a date or something," quipped Mbule.
