The 31-year-old joined Amakhosi in 2023 and featured in 19 matches across all competitions, contributing two assists, both of which came during the 2023/24 DStv Premiership (now Betway Premiership) campaign.

Potsane’s appearances were spread across five competitions, the league, Nedbank Cup, Carling Knockout, MTN8, and the newly renamed Betway Premiership.

While he didn’t register any assists or goals in the current 2024/25 campaign, he played seven league matches under the club’s new technical team before the mutual agreement to part ways.

A club statement confirmed: “As Kaizer Chiefs continue to prepare for the upcoming season, the Club and midfielder Tebogo Potsane have parted ways amicably.”

Potsane had joined Chiefs from Royal AM, hoping to make a bigger impact in Soweto. His next move is yet to be confirmed.
