The story
Lucas Ribeiro Costa was the standout winner at the PSL Awards on Tuesday, taking home four impressive accolades, including the esteemed PSL Footballer of the Season award.
The versatile Brazilian forward also secured the Betway Premiership Players' Player of the Season, Goal of the Season, and top goal scorer awards in the league.
The 26-year-old, who arrived in South Africa in June 2023, was an essential part of Masandawana last season as they secured their eighth consecutive league title, achieving 25 goal contributions in 51 matches across all competitions.
Ribeiro tuned into the PSL Awards on SuperSport and was elated when he was announced as the Betway Premiership Players' Player of the Season.
