The story

Mfundo Vilakazi rose to the occasion as the hero for Kaizer Chiefs in their 1-0 win over Sekhukhune United at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The 19-year-old substitute provided the breakthrough, scoring the all-important goal just three minutes before full-time as he weaved past the defense and curled a shot into the bottom corner.

Vilakazi's winner came just moments after Babina Noko defender Vuyo Letlapa receiving a straight red card in the 84th minute, for an off-the-ball challenge on Chiefs' teenage sensation.

As expected, the skillful young talent was showered with praise from the Khosi Nation on the Twitter/X timeline, resulting in a host of fans reposting his splendid finish.
