The story
Masandawana midfielder, Lebohang Maboe took to Instagram to share visuals of his recent getaway to a nearby island destination.
Since joining the Brazilians back in 2018, Maboe has gone on to win eight trophies at the club, with five of them being DStv Premiership titles.
Although the 29-year-old experiences varying degrees of involvement last season, making 24 appearances in all competitions, Maboe will relish this rest period as he looks to reach new levels in the 2024/25 campaign.
It appears as if Maboe has taken a quick trip to Mauritius — sharing footage of him at the beach and the stunning seaside views and the tall palm trees.
The Bafana Bafana international was seen swimming around the Crystal Rock, a natural wonder on the island. The large rock, which sits in the middle of the ocean, is situated off the south-west coast of Mauritius, located close to the Le Morne mountain.
