The story
Former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Keletso Makgalwa is up for the Footballer of the Season award alongside Orlando Pirates' Relebohile Mofokeng and Masandawana's Lucas Ribeiro Costa.
Makgalwa also sits alongside Mofokeng and Ribeiro in being nominated for the Betway Premiership Players' Player of the Season award, underlining his brilliant comeback season in Mzansi's top flight, characterised by consistency and influence for Babina Noko.
In his first season at Sekhukhune, the diminutive attacker contributed six goals and 11 assists across 32 appearances, playing a major role in helping his side finish fourth in the league.
Makgalwa took to Instagram Live to address a portion of his nearly 17,000 followers to express gratitude for his two PSL Awards nominations.
"I'm so grateful, guys. When is the time right? I'm telling you guys. Just for being there, I'm good, and for them to recognise my hard work throughout the season? What more could you ask for? Wow, I'm good guys," shared Makgwalwa on his IG Live.
