New Buccaneers winger Oswin Appollis has opened up about what it means for him to wear the famous black and white colours of the Soweto giants.
Appollis emerged as a surprise signing for the Buccaneers from Polokwane City after being heavily linked with their Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs.
Donning the number 15 jersey, Appollis has already hit the ground running for his new club on their pre-season tour to Spain, making quite an impression on supporters for his solid performance against Pafos on Sunday.
Speaking to presenter Thomas Mlambo, who is following the Sea Robbers on their Spanish escapade with SuperSportBet, the ex-SuperSport United baller revealed that it's a dream come true to represent Ezimnyama Ngenkani.
"Yes, it is [a dream come true]. You know, playing for this great club is an honour. I always watched them on TV. Wearing this badge means a lot to me," shared the 23-year-old.
The former Polokwane City talisman walked into the Pirates set-up with a friend in Deano van Rooyen, who has warmly welcomed the signing of Appollis and helped him settle at the club so far.
