The story

After parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns upon the expiry of his contract on 30 June, Gaston Sirino is still a free agent and is hard at work to stay fit for his potential suitors.

The 33-year-old spent some time in Uruguay with his wife and two daughters before heading back to his adopted country, Mzansi, to gear up for the 2024/25 season.

Sirino, who joined Sundowns in January 2018, scoring 41 goals and setting up 44 more in 202 appearances for the club, is a South African citizen and therefore won't take up the foreign player quoter of any local club he decides to join.

Overall, Sirino lifted 12 trophies at Chloorkop, including seven DStv Premiership titles and will hope for success on South African shores after being reportedly offered to both Soweto giants and being linked with SuperSport United.

As expected for any free agent, Sirino has been undergoing his own, vigorous pre-season preparation, with well known strength and conditioning coach, Vusi 'Blckvreka' Hlabangwana.

Blckvreka has worked with PSL stars such as Themba Zwane, Kermit Erasmus, Phillip Ndlondlo, Itumeleng Khune, and Mduduzi Shabalala among other big names.

Sirino has been doing some intense workouts from what appears to be his residence and even made time to create a fun TikTok video with Blckvreka:
