Orlando Pirates missed chance to reclaim top spot after they were held to a draw in a four-goal thriller against ten-man Golden Arrows on Saturday afternoon at Princess Magogo Stadium.

Mvuselelo Cebekhulu broke the deadlock for Abafana Bes'thende seven minutes before the half-time break but Boitumelo Radiopane levelled matters for Pirates early in the second stanza.

Arrows were reduced to ten men just after that after Siyabonga Msomi conceded a penalty and got a second booking for bringing down Radiopane in the box.

Radiopane stepped up to take the spot-kick, made it 2-1 for the Buccaneers, completed his brace and took his tally to 20 goals for the season.

However, Ndlozi salvaged a point for the hosts with the equaliser in stoppage time from the penalty spot.

Kaizer Chiefs suffered their 11th defeat of the campaign after they were edged by Chippa United in a five-goal thriller on Sunday morning at FNB Stadium.

Chiefs went behind early in the game before Keletso Sifama and Wandile Duba got two quick goals to give them the lead early in the second stanza.

However, the Chilli Boys netted two late goals to clinch all the three points.

SuperSport United kept their chances of winning the title alive after a narrow 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

After a goalless first stanza, Shandre Campbell snatched the winner for Matsatsantsa seven minutes before time, as they reduced the gap behind leaders Stellenbosch to five points in third spot on the log, with five matches remaining.

Cape Town City extended their unbeaten run to three matches after they hammered ten-man Sekhukhune United 4-0 on Saturday morning at Tsakane Stadium.

Babina Noko's early red-card in the first stanza proved costly, as Luke Daniels, Jaedin Rhodes, Ashley Nel and Sisonke Lubelwana all scored for rampant City.

TS Galaxy's outing with Royal AM was postponed due to bad weather on Sunday afternoon at Tsakane Stadium.
