Cape Town City head coach Eric Tinkler has revealed the blueprint to stopping DStv Premiership leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Citizens became the first team to take points off the Brazilians in the league this season after the goalless draw on Sunday afternoon.
City are also the first team to stop Rulani Mokwena's charges from scoring in a league game this campaign.

When asked about the tactics they used to deny Sundowns, Tinkler told SuperSport, "Very simple, like I said to you before, you're one nil down when the game starts, that's the best way. You watch the games that we analyzed, teams sit back and they allow them to come and Sundowns with the quality that they have, they will hurt you.
"So, we decided that we'll be looking at going at them. When I watched those clips, AmaZulu 1-0 down, all of a sudden they were back in the game, why? Because they started pressing, so I think if you press them, you can be fortunate.
"But, like I said they've got so much quality out there, they changed Zungu, in the beginning he was playing the six role, they saw that he was struggling in the build-up, they brought Mkhulise, who is a little bit more smart and clever in the build-up and they managed to get out," he said.
"So they've got so many variations that they can utilize and options that they have, it doesn't make it easy. But am I saying this is going to work for you? I don't know. It worked for us today but maybe it doesn't the next time we do it," he added.
