Sundowns Update About The Players Before DRC Trip

Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that the team will be without Khama Billiat and Soumahoro Bangaly for their CAF Champions League game this weekend, owing to suspensions.

The Brazilians will be travelling to the Democratic Republic of the Congo for their game with AS Vita Club on Sunday. Teko Modise, Anthony Laffor and Mogakolodi Ngele are said to be doubtful for the game, according to the information on the Chloorkop club's official website.

Mamelodi Sundowns might be without some key members of the squad as they prepare to take on AS Vita in a crucial Champions League match.

Top of the list are Khama Billiat and Samohoro Bangalli who are both suspended for the match, after accumulating yellow cards.

Mogakolodi Ngele, Anthony Laffour and Teko Modise are doubtful for the trip with various injuries. Modise bruised his right shin, while Ngele and Laffour came back from international duty carrying minor knocks.

Rheece Evans is carrying an ankle injury and will continue with his rehab. Thabo Nthenthe has a mild flu but should be fine to travel. He will be reassessed before the travel.
