Downs' CAF Permutations: Two Goals With No Reply

Sundowns have to overcome a one-goal deficit after losing the first leg in Kinshasa, where they conceded a goal in the 92nd minute. The 39-year-old thinks that Pitso Mosimane's defence proved strong enough away from home.

"They did very well in the away game. It was a last gasp winner that decided that leg," he told Soccer Laduma.

"It was almost as good as a draw or a win. They managed to hold out for most of that game and they only have to overcome a 1-0 deficit."

Sundowns' attacking line-up will be boosted by the return of Khama Billiat, and Booth also thinks that Sundowns have what it takes for the attackers to keep up their brilliant form in front of goal in front of the home fans.

"I'm sure they'll overcome that deficit, because from a goal scoring point of view, they're fantastic."

Billiat has been part of the attacking trident with his attacking partners Leonardo Castro and Keegan Dolly that has led Sundowns to the summit of the PSL standings with their combined contribution of 23 goals.

Booth thinks the CBD will be key to Sundowns victory and progression to the group stages the tournament.

"I'm sure they'll overcome that deficit, because from a goal scoring point of view, they're fantastic, he concluded.
