Banyana Banyana defeated Botswana 1-0 in the first leg of their All Africa Games qualifier at the Molepolole Stadiume on Saturday afternoon.

Botswana then went close at the other end minutes later, as Refilwe Tholakele's fired an effort just wide of the Roxanne Barker's goals.
Banyana had most of the chances in the early stages, as Mollo had an strike cleared off the line, before Nokou Matlou went close in the 11th minute.
Banyana eventually broke the deadlock in the 28th minute courtesy of a finish from Mollo, a minute after Barker was forced into a crucial save at the other end.
The South Africans continued to push for a second goal and were nearly rewarded just before the halftime break but Jermaine Seoposenwe's was thwarted by the Botswana goalkeeper.
Pauw side continued to see most of the ball in the second half, whiel Refoile Jane had an effort saved in the 51st minute, as they looked to increase their advantage.
Botswana did have a few shots at goal in the second half, although the efforts failed to pose a threat to Baker in between the sticks, as Banyana held out to claim a 1-0 win.
