Bafana Bafana head coach Molefi Ntseki has spoken on having butterflies in the stomach ahead of his first match in charge of the senior national team this weekend.

After the cancellation of previously arranged international friendly matches against Zambia and Madagascar respectively, which were to give Ntseki the feel of how it is to be in charge as Bafana's head coach, the team is set to finally play on Sunday under him against Mali in the Nelson Mandela Challenge in Port Elizabeth.
Speaking to the media after Bafana's friendly match against Absa Premiership side Chippa United on Thursday, Ntseki said it is normal for a coach to have butterflies in the stomach ahead of a match.

"As a coach you'll always have butterflies (in the stomach) because every game you play you want to win. The butterflies are actually your conscience, and you can't go into a game when you don't have any conscience. You have your best players…they (opponents) will have their best players, you have your tactical strategy, they will have their tactical strategy. I hope everything goes well for me, I hope I win the match. But the preparation is that of winning the game," the coach told the media.
