A football legend has suggested that the national team selectors should consider recalling Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune to the Bafana Bafana set-up.
With Bafana set for Friday's away match to Zimbabwe in the first of their upcoming back-to-back World Cup qualifiers, coach Hugo Broos has called up Ronwen Williams, Veli Mothwa and Bruce Bvuma, as his three goalkeepers.

Williams has since been named Bafana captain, and is expected to start against the Warriors, with Mothwa and Bvuma who have both played in the two matches so far in the DStv Premiership for their respective teams, are expected to deputise for the SuperSport United number one.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender James Mayinga, who is now a television pundit, believes that there is still a place for Khune in the national team to add his experience.

"Itu cannot be a bad goalkeeper overnight and if you remember he was out for almost the whole season when Chiefs went on to sign (Daniel) Akpeyi, and I think he had a shoulder problem. But his experience in international football, trust me, it will be very credible for our goalkeepers. No amount of justification can do the onus in substituting Khune in terms of his international experience," said Mayinga, speaking to the Siya crew.
Bafana's second World Cup qualifying match against Ghana will be played on Monday at the FNB Stadium.
