TS Galaxy have built a system that allows them to plan ahead for whenever they sell their best players and they are already working behind the scenes for Khulumani Ndamane, as chairman Tim Sukazi confirmed Mamelodi Sundowns are interested in the defender.
You'd think that Galaxy would not even consider selling Ndamane after selling Kamogelo Sebelebele and Lebone Seema to Soweto giants Orlando Pirates, but they are currently in talks with Sundowns. They've proven, time and again, that they have an impressive scouting network, with new players being unearthed at the club season in and out.

So, while the departure of Ndamane would be a big loss, it's not likely to cause them sleepless nights. There is a plan in place, according to Sukazi, should they lose the Bafana Bafana defender.
"Indeed, Sundowns are very keen on Ndamane. Indeed there are talks. We have not concluded yet. If we conclude, we conclude. As TS Galaxy, you would also know that we always plan ahead. We know (that) if this situations happens, what then is the solution? So, we've got all the permutations figured out around Ndamane," Sukazi said to Soccer Laduma.
"As project TS Galaxy, we are duty bound to lose Ndamane or any of our players at any stage of the transfer window, to be honest. We have our jobs cut out to find a replacement. It's not the easiest thing to do. We have to be that club, rightly or wrongly. We have accepted our fate. Until we have a R20 million front jersey sponsor, then things will change. We are ambitious and we want to be a club that grows and challenges, but sometimes our circumstances dictate on us what to do with our best talent. But as we do that, we are reinforcing and we are making sure the clubs stays in the league and attains a position better than the last season."
Galaxy have found a way to keep delivering on the pitch despite losing their best players to the big guns of South African football. For two consecutive seasons, they have finished in the top eight and, of course, their aim is to be there again at the end of the current campaign.

What they've managed to do so well is to scout for talent and already this season, there are new faces putting up their hands. Seluleko Mahlambi, the younger brother of Phakamani Mahlambi, scored his first goals as a professional football earlier this week when Galaxy beat Siwelele FC 2-0 at Mbombela Stadium. Lentswe Motaung is also showing glimpses of brilliance at right back after the departure of experienced defender Marks Munyai.
Looking at how things have gone over the last few seasons, there are a galaxy of stars that are still going to leave the club because they keep unearthing top talent.
