It seems Gavin Hunt will spend the next few months trying to rebuild Bidvest Wits from the ground up. The list of players reportedly leaving the club is staggeringly long.
Sibusiso Vilakazi, Papy Faty, Getaneh Kebede, Tinashe Nengomasha, Sandile Sibande, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Erwin Isaacs, Thomas Sweswe, S'boniso Gumede, Matthew Booth, Kwanda Mngonyama, Bhongolwethu Jayiya, Miguel Timm, Jackson Mabokgwane and Ryan Chapman are all either out of contract, in talks with other clubs or returning to their respective clubs from loans with Wits.
Quite a list, eh? If Hunt isn't quick to renew some of these contracts, he will be essentially building next season's team from scratch. It would be a shame to see a team that was successful this past season disbanded.
