The PSL has been suspended since mid-March due to the Coronavirus pandemic. While the league is yet to decide on the future of the 2019/20 season, it has been expected that the league, along with the South African Football Association (SAFA), would liaise with the government on safety measures and other important issues for the possible return of football in Mzansi, following a plea by the Minister of Sport Nathi Mthethwa to them to speak with one voice on the matter.
The PSL executive committee has had meetings to discuss how the season could be concluded behind closed doors, while adhering to the health and safety regulations as set out by the government to contain the spread of the virus.
While the PSL won't comment on the matter at the moment, it has promised to do so at a later stage.
"At the moment, we are not making any comments on this. We will at a later stage," PSL Head of Media Luxolo September told the Siya crew.
The North West is said to be the province likely to accommodate the Absa Premiership and GladAfrica Championship clubs, should the reported camp go ahead.
