It seems almost a tradition for clubs to launch new kits and opinion is divided on this, since fans have to fork out money to buy the replica jerseys every season, but perhaps that is a topic for another season. Now, kit designers are known to be a very creative – so creative that they can change the club's colours.
Celtic has always been known to be a club that prides itself on wearing green and white colours with pride, and one is hoping that it stays the same way. The reason I'm saying this is because the club turned up in a red and black kit in the final of the e-tv Charity Showdown last weekend, so we don't really know what to expect. Our plea is for the team to stick with green and white because that is who we are.
