Artetas Arsenal Way

These past few weeks has reiterated the value that Pep Guardiola first saw in the young Gunners manager. Wins against the top 2 is no easy feat. Especially in such a short time. One has to give credit where it is due even though it's still early days. If the Gunners do not fully support the Spaniard , it would be to their own demise. With limited time, resources and one of the most toughest challenges, Mikel has already imprinted so many good habits. That has been evident in the past few months and was in full display at Wembley. They did not just beat Peps soldiers, they did it by a displacement much bigger than the scoreline can truly depict. They seem to be much more direct and purposeful. There are even small shades of the old Arsenal way when they build up. He has galvanised them so much including the showing them the ability to soak up pressure with every onslaught. As recently seen against Liverpool and again here at Wembley. They are becoming hard to beat, fighting for every ball and being so disciplined without posession. It has not being a complete 180 but the promise to want to improve and be better is being created gradually.
