8 Football People Who Have Recovered From Coronavirus

With the COVID-19 pandemic striking fear into the world, we are happy to report some positive news in that at least eight footballers and coaches have already recovered from the virus, including a Juventus star.

Football in most parts of the world has been brought to a halt by the pandemic that has sadly claimed the lives of more than 40 000 people across the globe.

While the majority of what supporters have been subjected to in the media has been gloomy, there are some positive stories surrounding the illness, with the latest good news coming from Valencia.

After it came to light more than two weeks ago that left-back Jose Gaya, centre-back Eliaquim Mangala and former Argentina international Ezequiel Garay had contracted the illness, it has now been reported that they have all recovered from the virus.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is also back to full health, with the Spanish boss recently opening up on his experience with COVID-19, telling the Gunners' official website that "we are all completely fine now" with regards to himself, his wife and nanny, who also tested positive following his diagnosis.
