Last 16, Second Leg

Date: 18 March 2015
Venue: Signal Iduna Park
Juventus stormed into the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League after beating Borussia Dortmund 3-0 in a last 16, second leg match at Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday night.
The result combined with Juventus' 2-1 win in the first leg saw the Italians progress into the next round of the competition 5-1 on aggregate.
It was the perfect start to the game for the Italian side when Carlos Tevez thundered a 25-yard shot into the top right hand corner as early as the third minute, 1-0.
Stephan Lichtsteiner nearly doubled Juventus' lead in the 15th minute, but he saw his powerfully struck long range shot superbly saved by the Dortmund keeper.
In the 27th minute Juventus suffered a bit of a set-back when Paul Pogba had to leave the field injured (hamstring) and was replaced by Andrea Barzagli.
Dortmund saw a lot of the ball in the opening half, but struggled to really fashion any decent scoring chances.
The home side's best effort on goal came in the 37th minute when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fired a 22-yard shot narrowly wide of the target.
That was about as good as it got for the Germany team who entered the half time break a goal down on the night, but 3-1 behind on aggregate.
The Italian side came out the better team in the second half and came close to finding their second goal ten minutes after the break when Alvaro Morata saw his well-struck shot from the edge of the box was magnificently saved by the Dortmund keeper.
In the 70th minute Juventus put the result beyond doubt when Tevez broke the off-side and trap and squared for Morata, across to the keeper, to tap into an empty net, 2-0.
Juventus confirmed their dominance with Tevez's second goal on the night when he broke behind the defence yet again and finished with aplomb to make it 3-0 (5-1 on aggregate).
