Pyramids FC have reportedly been handed a major boost ahead of the second leg of their CAF Champions League final clash against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The next seven days are monumental in the history of the Egyptian giants, as they will be playing in the final match of their league campaign — where they are two points off the top of the standings — the second leg of their continental clash against Ka Bo Yellow, and the final of the Egyptian Cup, where they stand a chance to retain their title against Zamalek.
The first of these pivotal matches will be their top-flight encounter against Ceramica Cleopatra. While they need to win the game on Wednesday evening, they will also require current log leaders Al Ahly to lose their match against Pharco.
Three days later, they will face perhaps the biggest match in the club’s history as they look to capitalise on the late away goal they scored against Miguel Cardoso’s side this past weekend, when they play Masandawana once again.
After their first-leg 1-1 draw at Loftus Versfeld, Krunoslav Jurcic claimed that he would likely have to field his strongest line-up in their looming league match as well, which is likely to affect his charges for the decisive return leg in Cairo.
According to FilGoal, however, the Croat will have one of his star players back when they face the South African champions, as Egyptian international Mostafa Fathi returns, giving him options on the flank.

The 31-year-old has been a mainstay for Pyramids FC during their continental run, starting 11 of the 13 matches he has been available for in the Champions League. It is understood that he suffered an anterior muscle tear, which is why he missed the first leg, but he is now fit and available for the second leg.
