There was some uncertainly surrounding Mourinho's future at the end of last season, especially after Roma suffered defeat to Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League final.

Following the departure of high-profile footballers to the Saudi Pro League in the last few weeks, Mourinho was also approached to ditch Europe for the big-money moves.
However, the Portuguese tactician has revealed he turned down Al Ahli and Al Hilal.
I've received two proposals: Al Hilal and Al Ahli wanted me, I decided to turn both down as I want to stay at Roma,' Mourinho told Corriere Dello Sport.
"Not everything is going well.
"But I also enjoy the difficulties. I get angry for an hour and immediately after that I come back positive.
"I don't get depressed, I don't threaten, I don't say that they promised me heaven and earth and I don't see the heavens or the mountains."
