Ronaldo completed a 103 million move from Real Madrid in the off-season and made his debut in the 3-2 win over Chievo.
The Portuguese was unable to find the back of the net, despite attempting eight shots at goal on the day.
Ronaldo was usual penalty taker at Los Blancos and previously at Manchester United, and Allegri confirms he will share the duty with Paulo Dybala.
"Cristiano and Paulo Dybala are our two designated penalty-takers this season," Allegri said, according to FourFourTwo,
"The problem is more about who takes free-kicks, where we now have around six or seven players who'll be standing around the ball!"
