Juventus and Barcelona have reportedly come to an agreement over the transfer of an African star.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri have successfully negotiated the signing of 26-year-old midfielder Franck Kessie from the Catalan club.
The Ivorian does not seem to be in Xavi Hernandez's plans going forward and given Barca's need to recoup funds, the Spanish champions appear to have decided to part ways with the box-to-box midfielder.
Kessie joined Barca at the beginning of the 2022/23 season from AC Milan, but could make a return to Serie A to link up with Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri, who is believed to be a massive fan of the player.
The same report claims that Juve could initially sign him on a loan deal that would have a mandatory option to buy inserted into it.
Barca would then receive between €10 and €15 million (R194 and R292 million) for the Ivory Coast international in a year's time, and while this may be considered low for a player of Kessie's quality, the reining LALIGA champions are in need of the money.

Juventus, however, still need to convince the Ouragahio native to sign with them and will be hoping to do so during Barca's pre-season tour of the US.
It is further claimed the deep-lying midfielder would prefer a move to the Premier League or even Saudi Arabia, but it now seems the record Italian champions are in a strong position to land his services.
