The Democratic Republic of Congo international appears to be in high demand at the moment. Since arriving in the Egyptian capital, the Kinshasa-born forward has been prolific, netting 39 goals and registering seven assists in 81 matches for the club.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, but it now appears that a club from Saudi Arabia is intensifying efforts to land the physically imposing marksman.
According to Saudi publication Asharq Al-Awsat, Al Fateh are determined to sign Mayele. The club reportedly considers him a top target, not only for his goal-scoring ability but also for the key role he played in Pyramids’ recent success — including their historic Egyptian Cup victory in the 2023/24 season, the first major trophy in the club’s history, and their latest CAF Champions League triumph.
