The ongoing war between Thomas Tuchel and Zinedine Zidane continues to rage on, and the Paris Saint-Germain boss has landed the latest blow against his Real Madrid counterpart.
Los Blancos host the Ligue 1 giants in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night, and there will be an added fire to the fixture after the recent war of words between the two clubs' managers.
In the build-up to the match, Real boss Zidane once again professed his "love" for PSG star Kylian Mbappe, a player he has publicly admitted he would like to have in his team.
Following the Frenchman's latest comments, Tuchel has now hit back, stressing that Mbappe is and will remain an important player for Les Parisiens.
'Sometimes it is like that. Sometimes you love players that you can't have. Unfortunately for Zidane, he is our player, and I think he also has many players that he is in love with on his own team."
The former Borussia Dortmund boss was unwilling to discuss the matter further, and attempted to play down any war between him and Zidane.
"No. I wouldn't like to discuss this issue. I was in Geneva two weeks ago talking with Zidane at the coaches meeting and we didn't talk about this topic," he added.
"If you ask me about Mbappe and if you ask him, he is French and will answer something like that. It's normal for many coaches to love him, but I'm not angry. It doesn't bother me because I don't care much."
PSG claimed a 3-0 win when the two clubs met in the reverse fixture on 18 September, with former Real star Angel di Maria scoring twice on the night.
