Messi scored his 48th goal for Argentina in their 7-0 win over Bolivia on the weekend, while Ronaldo sits on 55 goals with Portugal.
However, that's still some 15 goals away from the 10th best international goalscorer and less than half of what the top international goal-getter has achieved.
