Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to perform a massive U-turn on Lionel Messi's future after the team's UEFA Champions League exit this week.

With just a few months left of the 2022/23 campaign, the Argentine's future still appears unresolved.
Messi's contract in Paris expires at the end of the season, although reports in recent months have suggested the French giants have been working on renewing his stay at the club.
The 35-year-old, meanwhile, has been linked with moves to the MLS and Saudi Arabia, with a return to Barcelona also believed to a possibility.
Following PSG's defeat to Bayern Munich over two legs in the round of 16 of the Champions League, however, it is suggested there are now doubts as to whether Messi will remain at the French giants beyond June.
According to PSG biographer and RMC Sport journalist Thibaud Leplat, the club will decide against offering him an extension in the wake of the team's latest European disappointment.
Leplat claims supporters "will not accept" Messi due to yet another early exit from the Champions League, with Neymar's future in France also uncertain.
