The Portuguese has scored 10 goals in his past six games across all competitions, helping Real win five of those clashes.
Ronaldo's recent improvement in form has seen him catch up to Messi's overall tally for 2017/18, with Ronaldo sitting on 26 strikes while the Argentine has scored 27 times in all competitions.
However, when it comes to the duo's goalscoring ratios, the Portugal captain has already overtaken his longstanding rival, as Marca pointed out.
Ronaldo has scored 26 goals in 30 games across all competitions this season, which means he averages 0.87 goals per appearance after missing the opening games of the LaLiga campaign due to suspension. Messi, meanwhile, sits on 27 goals in 37 games, a ratio of 0.73 goals per game.
