Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly unhappy with Real Madrid's interest in Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar, but teammate Marcelo has insisted the Portuguese is not the boss at Los Blancos.
Why Ronaldo Neymar Won't Play Together At Real
Ronaldo is said to be unsettled by Real's interest in Neymar as the club seem to be willing to spend big money on the Brazilian, but unwilling to offer him an improved deal.
Many have also claimed the pair would not be able to play together at the Spanish giants, but Marcelo has rubbished those claims, and has insisted that is the president who makes transfer decisions.
"Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't own Real Madrid," he said at a press conference while in camp with Brazil, according to Sportskeeda.
"If the president (Florentino Perez) wants somebody, he'll pick somebody. It's not like Neymar can't get in because Cristiano is in the team.
"I want Cristiano to stay, all players want it, but one thing has nothing to do with the other. Real Madrid doors are always open for Neymar. The best players in the world should play in Real Madrid.
"I've already said that two, three years ago. I guess someday Neymar will play in Real Madrid. I don't know when."
