According to Football Insider, Manchester United have become one of the latest sides credited with an interest in the 24-year-old France captain and Paris Saint-Germain superstar.
The forward's deal in Paris expires at the end of the season and he has so far shown no indication that he will extend his stay in the country's capital.
The news comes after rumours in Spain suggested that Los Blancos are having doubts about pursuing the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, who decided to renew his contract in France instead of joining the 14-time European champions in 2022.
Mbappe's significant salary, believed to be around £650 000 (R14.9 million), is said to be a potential issue for the Spanish giants as it could risk upsetting their wage structure.
It is not just the Red Devils who are linked with the ex-Monaco striker, however, with Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool also believed to be monitoring his situation.
Mbappe has been in terrific form of late for Luis Enrique's PSG after he took his tally to 15 goals for the season this past weekend with a hat-trick against Stade Reims in Ligue 1.

It remains unknown as to whether or not the player would consider a move to the Premier League, having long been linked with a switch to LALIGA, but Real's apparent position could see him change any potential plans he might have.
