Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are both very close to break Raul's Champions League all-time record of most goals in the Champions League.
The Real Madrid legend had scored 71 goals during his career for Los Blancos (66) and Schalke (5) in 142 games in the competition.
He remains the top scorer in the European Cup, but both Ronaldo with 68 goals and Messi with 67 goals are within reach of his record.
While Ronaldo has a goal-scoring ratio of 0.65, Messi's is slightly better with 0.77, but the Portuguese has been on fire since the beginning of the last campaign.
He has scored 18 goals in his last 12 Champions League games and broke the record for most goals in a single campaign (17) on the way to winning the title.
The Portuguese is more likely to break Raul's record after facing Basel, Ludogrets and Liverpool, while Messi's Barcelona have Ajax, APOEL and PSG in their group.
Real Madrid travel to Ludogrets tomorrow and many fancy Ronaldo bagging a hat trick to level Raul. The 29-year-old had a brilliant start to his new campaign, with 10 goals in six La Liga matches.
Messi, meanwhile, has drawn a blank in the Champions League for three consecutive games but also started his La Liga campaign impressive with five goals and seven assists.
