Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has declared a star from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations as the "best in the world" in his position.
Despite his allegiance to France, it is no surprise the 23-year-old is invested in the entertainment provided by the most prestigious international tournament in African football.
Mbappe, in fact, would have been eligible to represent both Algeria and Cameroon through the heritage of his mother and father, but decided to play for his country of birth, for whom he made his senior debut in 2017.
Watching Morocco's 2-1 win over Malawi in the round of 16 on Tuesday night, the Les Bleus forward was as impressed as the rest of the world was by Achraf Hakimi's free-kick goal, which proved to be his side's winner.
It was the 23-year-old fullback's second consecutive direct set-piece goal for Morocco at the competition, leading Mbappe to declare his PSG colleague to be the best right-back around.
Reacting to his club teammate's performance, he wrote on Twitter: "Achraf Hakimi. Best RB (right-back) in the world. Good night guys."

BEST RB IN THE WORLD.
GOOD NIGHT GUYS. ????
Since the Morocco international joined the French giants at the start of the season, he and Mbappe have become close friends off the field in the country's capital city.
Hakimi's arrival in Paris came following a brilliant and successful spell in Italy with Inter Milan, while he has previously played for Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
