Inter Miami have vowed to improve their squad ahead of Lionel Messi's first full season at the club.

It seems the Major League Soccer franchise is looking to build on their capture recently crowned Ballon d'Or winner Messi's services.
The attacker joined the Herons in July, and while his impact was immediate with the club attaining their first title under his captaincy by winning the Leagues Cup, their league form dissipated once the Argentine sustained an injury.
The Florida-based outfit are now set to contest in more competitions, having qualified for the CONCACAF Champions Cup coupled with their MLS-specific obligations, meaning they will need squad depth if they are to be competitive across all those formats.
Consequently, club sporting director Chris Henderson has claimed that he and his team are working tirelessly to prepare the best possible squad for the new campaign.
"We have seen what this team is capable of when we're on all cylinders and everyone is out there," the American football chief said during their end-of-year media availability, as per the Miami Herald.
"We had some beautiful football, controlling games. But we want more. We will improve this roster for 2024. We will work tirelessly to evaluate the changes that need to be made."
Having already brought Messi's former Barcelona teammates in Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba to the club, Henderson also addressed the rumours surrounding the potential arrival of another Blaugrana legend in Luis Suarez.

"He's currently with Gremio, so we don't want to comment on a player who's not on our roster," he said of the Uruguayan. "He is another player that's always been linked with our team and it's great to have great players around the world connected with Inter Miami and wanting to come here."
