Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes Cristiano Ronaldo gets better with every passing year.
Perez wrote a column in a local paper praising the Portuguese star's ability and wished him a happy 30th birthday following his special day on Thursday.
Ronaldo Named Best EPL Player Of All Time
The president felt that the column was the perfect opportunity to acknowledge Ronaldo and his achievements, and he feels like he is just getting better every year.
"It is a magnificent opportunity to acknowledge just how great this unique player is. Cristiano gets better with every passing year, as impossible as that might be to believe", Perez wrote in his Jornal de Notícias column, as quoted by Marca.
He continued praising the Portuguese star, by saying that he was "proud to have made such a great footballer part of Real Madrid's history" and continued by describing him as a "magnificent, supportive and generous teammate".
Perez ended his column by talking about Ronaldo's ambition and dedication, as his career has been "packed with difficulties", but "strength and talent" allowed the three time Ballon d'Or to overcome "everything and everyone".
Ronaldo is set to return to Real Madrid's starting line-up this weekend against city rivals Atletico Madrid.
