The Austrian international earned a lot of praise after the German giants' 1-0 victory over the French giants in Lisbon, when he spent some time consoling Neymar following the final whistle.
Speaking recently about his sporting behaviour, the Bayern defender hinted that he feels bad for the Brazil international due to the heavy pressure he is seemingly under in France.
"It turned out that way," he told FC Bayern Podcast.
"He's a player who has a lot of pressure on his shoulders, who carries a large burden, who carries the whole club."
Alaba went on to praise Neymar for playing football with a smile on his face, saying that "that's important. We all love these athletes."
It was Kingsley Coman's headed goal that secured the Bavarians' triumph in the final, although goalkeeper Manuel Neuer's performance was just as vital.
