Cristiano Ronaldo Has Scored 61 Goals In 2014

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo has outscored Lionel Messi, Neymar, Karim Benzema and everybody else to achieve the highest goal scoring tally for 2014.

The Portuguese star has found the net 56 times for Real Madrid and 5 times for Portugal in 2014, to achieve a combined total of 61 goals for the calendar year. Messi, meanwhile has scored 58 times for Barcelona and Argentina, while Karim Benzema, in third place, has scored 36 times for club and country this year. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (33), Neymar (33), Alexis Sanchez (31), Thomas Muller (31), Mario Mandzukic (31), Alexandre Lacazette (30) and Sergio Aguero (29) make up the rest of the top 10.

Ronaldo has also scored the most goals at club level, followed by Messi, Ibrahimovic, Lacazette and Benzema. At international level, Neymar (15) has scored more for his country than anybody else, followed by Thomas Muller and Lionel Messi.

Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich Germany): 31 goals

Mario Mandzukic (Bayern Munich/Atletico Madrid Croatia): 31 goals

Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon): 30 goals

Sergio Aguero (Manchester City Argentina): 29 goals
