Cristiano Ronaldo is experiencing a superb campaign on an individual level and has now broken an incredible 94-year-old record after his goal against Olympique Lyon.

The Portuguese scored Juve's 1-1 equalizer in the first half of their UEFA Champions League second leg from the penalty spot after Memphis Depay had given the guests a 1-0 lead via a spot-kick as well.
It was Ronaldo's third goal in the UEFA Champions League this season and his 36th overall for Juventus in 2019/20.
As a consequence, he broke Ferenc Hirzer's tally of most goals in a single campaign for the Serie A champions.
The Hungarian netted 35 strikes for the Bianconeri back in 1925/26 – a record that had stood for 94 years.

Ronaldo also scored Juventus' second goal to take his tally to 37 strikes in 2019/20 but itl was not enough to prevent his side from a 2-2 aggregate defeat.
