An Arsenal and Manchester United transfer target has reportedly threatened to go on a strike to force an exit from Sporting Lisbon.

Gyokeres is one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe after scoring 54 goals in 52 games in all competitions last season, including 39 league goals last season.
According to Portuguese publication Record, the Swedish striker is reportedly ready to go on strike in a bid to force a move away from the Portuguese champions.
The 27-year-old has made it clear to the club that he wants a move away and has now grown frustrated that the club has made it difficult for him to leave.
The former Coventry striker reportedly informed Sporting officials that he will never play for the club again as he is said to feel disrespected by the club's 'broken promises'.
According to ESPN, Sporting CP president Frederico Varandas revealed that the club would not sell the star for €60m.
"I can guarantee that Viktor Gyökeres will not leave for €60 million (R1,2 billion) plus €10 million (R206 million) because I never promised that. The game the agent is playing is only making the situation worse," Varandas said.
Varandas claimed that the club had not received any offers for the former Brighton striker.
"One thing you should already know is that you should know me better," he said. "Threats, blackmail, and insults don't work with me. He is a fantastic professional, but to date he has received zero offers. He has a three-year contract with Sporting."
While the club president revealed that an agreement was in place with Gyokeres to allow him to leave.

"We knew Viktor's dream was to go to a club where he could fight for the Champions League, and we have common sense. We guaranteed that we would not demand the €100 million (R2 billion)."
