The Brazilian central midfielder has recently come under a lot of scrutiny for his performance for the Red Devils in their latest Premier League defeat to Liverpool.
The 32-year-old gave away the ball in two instances that led to Luis Diaz scoring twice in the first half during the 3-0 loss.
This has led to much speculation surrounding his future at Old Trafford, with recent reports stating that Super Lig champions Galatasaray are keen on securing his services before the Turkish transfer window closes on 13 September.
The record Turkish champions recently secured the services of CAF Men's Player of the Year Victor Osimhen on loan from Napoli, and are presumably looking to sign Casemiro for the season as well, but according to the Daily Mail, the 75-cap Brazil international is set to reject any advance made by the Istanbul-based side as he is determined to fight for his place in Erik ten Hag's strongest XI.
This will likely be difficult for the former Real Madrid star, though, as the Mancunians recently bought Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain for €50 million (R986 million) to play in the defensive midfield position.

Casemiro is one of United's highest earners, rumoured to be earning £375 000 (R8.7 million) a week in wages, so if he is to leave the record English champions, it will likely be to Saudi Arabia, but the same report claims that there has so far been no interest from the Gulf pertaining to five-time UEFA Champions League winner.
