Lionel Messi bagged a goal and an assist as Paris Saint-Germain returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory away to Nice on Saturday night.

After back-to-back losses in the league, PSG looked to get off to a fast start as Messi went close with a curling effort from distance that sailed just wide of the mark.
PSG coach Christopher Galtier was forced to make a change on ten minutes when Renato Sanches picked up an injury and was replaced by Fabian Ruiz.
The injury-forced change did not disrupt the visitors, who broke the deadlock in the 26th minute through Messi, who bagged his 14th league goal by turning home Nuno Mendes' cross.
Nice, meanwhile, were unable to get their attacking game going in the first half as they spent most of the half in their own while hoping to catch PSG on the break.
The hosts went agonisingly close to restoring parity seven minutes after the break, but Dante saw his shot crash against the crossbar with Gianluigi Donnarumma well beaten.
Donnaruma was called upon to keep PSG in front a couple more times as he kept out a long-range strike from Youssouf Ndayishimiye, before the shot-stopper also thwarted Jean-Clair Todibo's header.
While Nice were unable to break Donnarumma, PSG went on to grab a second goal at the other end in the 76th minute when Sergio Ramos nodded home a corner from Messi.
That proved to be the final goal of the game, as the two goals were enough to secure victory and restore PSG's six-point lead at the top of Ligue 1.
