The visitors, who were without Mario Balotelli, opened the scoring through Alassane Plea just before the break.
However, Lorient hit back through Jeremie Aliadiere and Walid Mesloub in the second half.

Monaco booked their spot in the next round of the French Cup after defeating Ajaccio 2-1 on Friday evening.
Radamel Falcao opened the scoring after 19 minutes, before Johan Cavalli leveled matters in the 65th minute.
Monaco secured the win in the 67th minute courtesy of a strike from Valere Germain.
Olympique Lyon 5-0 Montpellier
Lyon cruised into the next round of the French Cup, after thumping Montpellier 5-0 on Sunday evening.
Alexandre Lacazette, Mouctar Diakhaby, Nabil Fakir and Maxwel Cornet (2) were all on target in the emphatic victory.
