FC Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has broken his silence on his Gerard Pique's explicit rant with Antoine Griezmann during the loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Catalans were left embarassed after falling to a 4-1 loss at the hands of PSG in their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie at the Camp Nou.
With things not going well at both ends, Pique and Griezmann got involved in a swearing match during the encounter which was caught on film.
Despite the tension on display, Koeman insists he had no issue with two of his stars exchanging words.
"It's good to have people who react if they're not happy, there's no time to use manners,"he said, as per Football Italia.
"I have no problems with things like that happening during the game, I like it. After the game is something else. I don't like players who are quiet, and there are moments of high tension during a match."
With Atletico Madrid slipping up on Saturday, the Catalan giants can revive their LaLiga title hopes with a win at home to Cadiz on Sunday afternoon.
