FC Barcelona forward Memphis Depay has a final decision on his future after falling down the pecking order since the arrival of Xavi Hernandez.
The Netherlands international joined the Catalan giants on a free transfer after parting ways with Olympique Lyon at the end of last season.
Depay was a regular starter under Ronald Koeman but has since been reduced to a bench role after Xavi brought in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ferran Torres in the January transfer window.
The former Manchester United winger still has another year left on his deal with the Spanish giants and reports suggest he could be sold to help with the club's financial issues.
However, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that the 28-year-old wants to stay another season at the Camp Nou.
"As he has said in public, he wants to continue at Barca and wants to prove himself next season. His current mission is to stay since he wants to play in the Champions League," Romano said on the FIVE YouTube channel.
Depay has made a total of 33 appearances across all competitions, while registering 12 goals and two assists for the Catalans this season.
