“Real Madrid C. F. and Clube Atlético Mineiro have agreed on the transfer of our player Reinier," the club announced on their website.

"Real Madrid would like to show him its gratitude and affection for these years in which he has belonged to our club, and wishes him and his family all the best in this new stage of his life.”

Reinier struggled to cement his spot in the squad since joining Los Blancos from Flamengo in 2020 and only played in the B team before being loaned out to Borussia Dortmund, Granada and Girona over the years.
