The Red Devils concluded a successful tour of the USA, where they competed in the Premier League Summer Series. Amorim's side picked up wins against West Ham and Bournemouth, and a draw against Everton to claim the pre-season title.
Coupled with a 0-0 draw against Leeds, the 20-time League champions went unbeaten through pre-season and will face Italian giants Fiorentina in their final warm-up clash before the official start of the campaign.
It marked the first time that Amorim enjoyed a full pre-season with his team, having joined in November 2024, and it was a chance for him to give minutes to new signings and allow his players a chance to prove themselves.
Andre Onana, who joined the Old Trafford side under Ten Hag in 2023, has revealed the one difference between the two tacticians since the Portuguese took over, according to United In Focus.
The Cameroon international pointed out that Ten Hag's authority was immediately tested when he returned for pre-season, as there remained doubts over his future. However, Amorim has come in and stamped his mark on the squad, including axing five first-team players.

"[The difference] is togetherness," the 28-year-old said, "We know how we suffered last season, it was tough for us. We make sure it doesn’t happen again. We work hard, enjoy training together, and have fun. That is the key. When we are together, we’re going to be hard to beat," he concluded.
