Barcelona Agree Terms With Brazil International

Spanish giants Barcelona have reportedly agreed terms with a Brazil international who currently plies his trade in the Premier League.

According to Goal, the Catalan club is closing in on the signing of Leeds United winger Raphinha.

The Yorkshire club, however, is believed to be refusing to negotiate the player's sale before the end of the season as his future could depend on whether or not they are relegated from the Premier League.

It is claimed there is a release clause of just £21 million (R417 million) in Raphinha's Leeds contract should they drop to the Championship, which Barcelona are willing to trigger, while personal terms are said to have already been agreed with the 25-year-old.

Helping discussions for the attacker's signature is the Blaugrana's relationship with his agent Deco, a two-time LaLiga champion with the Spanish giants.

Raphinha is said to be dreaming of a move away from Elland Road ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, with rumours suggesting several clubs are interested in his services.

Despite talks advancing, though, the transfer could hinge on Ousmane Dembele's future at the Camp Nou after Barca president Joan Laporta revealed they have offered the Frenchman a new contract and are awaiting his response.
